Controls

The games base controls are in the menu called tutorial, but here they are anyways.

Player 1	W = move	Q = self cast	E = Enemy cast
Player 2	O = move	P = self cast	I = Enemy cast

Game description

The game is a 2 player game, with a minimalistic control scheme.

Both players press their move button to select their shooting direction and then press it again to choose power, then you will be launched away in that direction. The goal is to hit into the present sack. 

On the way you can pick up items, most of them hinder the opponent, but there is a few that help you. You can see which does what in the Tutorial section.

There is also small gimmicks you can enable and disable in the secret menu (it's not that secret, just look around in the Title Screen).

Story behind the game

Present rivals is a short 2 player game made for a game-jam in 2024, the theme was "Julegave ræs" Translated into english it's called "Christmas present race". 

Me and my team took this theme very literal and made a game about presents racing.
